Tennis Coach Matan

My name is Matan I’ve been playing tennis since I was 8 years old, and have always loved the sport. Now at 24 years old, I’ve played for 16 years. I started teaching tennis in college at UC Santa Cruz, and have continued to do so after graduating.

I love coaching because I get to form a unique connection with all my students, helping them learn difficult concepts and techniques. I do all of this while ensuring that we have fun; my core belief is that in order to get better, you have to love what you do. So if each lesson is fun but also challenging, it’s a perfect recipe for developing results and cultivating a love for the sport. My biggest reward as a coach is to see all my students improve over such a short amount of time.
